St. Joseph School uses Disciple of Christ, Education in Virtue. Education in Virtue is developed by the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, and based on the St. Thomas Aquinas’ teachings on the virtues and gifts of the Holy Spirit. These virtues provide a framework that helps all ages understand how to live a more virtuous life.

Each week we introduce and focus on a new virtue. We discuss the virtue of the week and learn about what it sounds like and looks like to practice that virtue. 

In January we started Virtue Awards. These awards are given to students who have demonstrated any of the virtues we focused on during the month.
